Cuisinewine Cooking Dry, Cooking Ruby and Cooking Sweet have a lower ABV of 5% created through our unique patented ‘ultra-filtration’ process. This means that the fortified range is classified as a condiment thereby avoiding duty and VAT but, since the lower ABV is not achieved through boiling the wine, you lose none of the flavours or natural characteristics of the wine. These characteristics being vital for cooking wines that may be used to tenderise meat as well as add flavour.
Cuisinewine Dry, Ruby and Sweet are available in a 3 litre wipe clean Bag-in-Box for easy use in the professional kitchen.
They have a 18 month shelf life from the date of manufacture and six weeks once opened. They are to be used in exactly the same way as ordinary full ABV Fortified Wines.
